All About Me

Hi there!  My name is BJ Linne and I thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten this year at Southside!  I have been teaching for over 20 years and have both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Elementary Education.  I have taught every grade in elementary with the exception of 3rd grade.  

 

My husband and I just moved to Tennessee from Georgia with our two teenage daughters in 2021.  Our oldest son, Christian is currently attending college in Georgia.  Our son, Jack is currently in training at Fort Gordon, Georgia with the United States Army.  He will be attending the University of Georgia in the spring.  Our daughter, Natalie is 18 and just graduated high school.  She is working and will be attending community college soon.  Bailey, our youngest, is 16 and is entering her junior year at Page High School. 

 

We moved to Shelbyville in May of 2022 and are working on fixing up an old farmhouse.  We have 3 dogs- one tiny Yorkie named Coco that lives inside and two LGD Great Pyrenees dogs- a girl named Harley and her younger brother, Maverick that guard our 30 chickens!  We also just got a new tiny kitten named Maggie that will hopefully help catch all the mice around the farm!
