Meet the Teacher

Hi, I'm Mrs. Kaitlyn Short. I'm so excited to be your ESL Teacher this year! I am so happy to be a Southside Salamander!! 

This is my 10th year teaching and my 6th year teaching ESL. I received my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, minor in Spanish, and ESL Endorsement from Harding University. I love to cook and bake, and I have a booth at a local farmer's market which is my favorite creative outlet!

I live in Fayetteville with my husband, Jay. We love to be outside, spend time with family, and we like to watch Braves baseball and Tennessee football.
