Southside Elementary celebrated Veterans Day with a heartfelt school-wide program honoring those who have served our country. Students from kindergarten through fifth grade performed patriotic songs, filling the gym with music and pride. The Southside Singers choir gave a special performance, showcasing their talent and gratitude through song. Students and staff also took time to recognize their own family members and loved ones who are veterans, sharing photos of their service. The ceremony concluded with a touching moment as three veterans were presented with handmade honor quilts in appreciation of their dedication and sacrifice. The event would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of Mrs. Dole and her team, whose efforts made the program both meaningful and memorable.
